Our clients are growing and so are we! We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our small but mighty team. Must be passionate about helping others achieve success! HR Certified and bilingual in Spanish required. Must be located in San Diego.
Responsibilities
- Develop written material for clients including employee handbooks, hiring guides, and safety programs.
- Provide general HR guidance to clients regarding compliance and employee relations.
- Assist with recruitment and hiring including placing job ads, screening applicants, and interviewing.
- Track and monitor leave of absences for clients and ensure compliance with leave laws.
- Assist with benefits open enrollment and other meetings/trainings as required.
- Responsible for providing direction for safety, loss control, compliance, and claims management functions.
- Update and maintain accurate employee records and information in their HRIS and timekeeping systems. Ensure data integrity in HRIS systems and correct errors as needed.
- Perform general duties such as data entry and handling routine correspondence.
- Represent Strategic HR Advisory's values daily: find solutions, own our actions, and do good in our community.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or comparable field
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources
- Bilingual with Spanish
- Advanced knowledge of employment law in California
