Welcome to the role of HR and Payroll Specialist at Beck's Join our corporate team located in Princeton, IL. The HR and Payroll Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of HR-related duties at a professional level across a range of functional areas including payroll administration, onboarding, HR data management, and maintaining personnel records through the HRIS. This position requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of HR best practices, knowledge of payroll and HR laws and regulations, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality. Payroll Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll for employees Time and attendance management Maintain and update employee payroll records Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes using ADP Monitor garnishments, 401k contributions, and benefits deductions Address employee payroll-related inquiries and assist in resolving discrepancies Prepare payroll reports HR Responsibilities: Assist in recruitment and hiring processes, including managing job requisitions in ADP Manage and follow up on employee onboarding, including pre-employment background checks and paperwork completion Support performance management, employee training processes, and development Assist HR team with projects and initiatives, as needed Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree, preferred 2 years of experience in payroll processing, human resources, or a related field. Familiarity with HRIS software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities High level of integrity and confidentiality Why Beck's?
