POSITION SUMMARY:Provides administrative support to Human Resources functions such as forms processing, correspondence, report generation, record keeping, data entry, file maintenance, and HRIS data entry. Functions as a resource for the organization. Ensures HR programs are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and program and policy provisions are followed. Performs other HR administrative duties as assigned.POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication required
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish fluency required
  • Must be able to multi-task, and work with minimal supervision
  • Minimum of one (1) year office experience preferred
  • Prior HR experience preferred
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
  • Requires reasoning ability, good independent judgment and a high degree of competency.
  • Able to respond to general internal and external customer needs independently.
  • Requires good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work with frequent interruptions.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Must have computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS; must be able to navigate time and attendance systems.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Good punctuation, spelling, grammar, and attention to detail are required. Strong interpersonal skills essential. Responsibilities:POSITION RESPONSIBILITES: • Answers the telephone and assists customers and employees with any questions. • Assist with onboarding of staff and other personnel • Resolves first-level employee complaints, referring difficult or complex complaints to HR Business Partners or the Human Resources Director. • Supports Employee and Community Engagement functions with various administrative items such as drafting communications or following up on stakeholders for events. • Supports Organizational Development in providing administrative support for training sessions such as drafting sign in sheets, reserving training rooms and other related items. • Support the Recruitment Team in preparing paperwork related to candidates such as Reference Checks or scheduling interviews. • Additionally, this role will support the Recruitment Team with hiring events as well as welcoming new hires for New Employee Orientation. • Other duties as assigned. Working Conditions: The individual spends over 95% of his/her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise.
