Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team is looking for a part-time Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Atlanta, GA.The HR Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support to the Human Resources operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Accurately and effectively working with corporate to process payroll by managing electronic timekeeping system, processing bonuses, commissions, counseling team members on payroll guidelines, etc.* Ensure HRIS system is updated with changes including, but not limited to reporting lines, job codes, FLSA status, salary changes, etc.* Resolving issues relative to timesheets, paychecks, and/or other payroll matters.* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employment files, records, and documentation.* Participating in periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure adherence to company, state, and/or federal regulations.QUALIFICATIONS:* Workday (HRIS) experience highly preferred* Prior experience processing payroll highly preferred* Experience with PowerBI beneficial but not required* Ability to work independently* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareCOMPENSATION & PERKS:* Excellent growth and advancement opportunities* Competitive pay based on experience* Paid time off* Generous benefits package: health, dental, vision, etc.* Employee Stock Program* Education Assistance Program - tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment assistance, etc.Delivering integrated insurance and risk management solutions to some of the largest and most respected companies in the world, Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team aims to create value beyond placing insurance.
