This role provides full-service support in several functional areas of human resources (e.g. federal and state leave of absences, recruitment and employment, communication, team member engagement, team member file management, and support with team member programs and benefits). Ensures compliance with policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations. Communicates and interacts throughout the company and externally and can innovate and create streamlined, automated people practice where needed, resulting in enhanced people experiences.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the broader HR team as well as business stakeholders, which includes data entry, completing call logs, filing, and running reports.
- Assist with HR daily processes including team member questions, support with talent acquisition as needed, annual people process execution, timekeeping and payroll partnership and maintaining federal and state compliance in all processes owned by the HR department.
- Lead and at times, support HRIS and timekeeping system-data integrity, ensuring that data is accurate, updates are entered and appropriate documentation to support changes is completed.
- Strong team member facing role, answering questions, timely follow up and follow through to ensure barriers are removed and positive team member engagement is maintained.
- Creating and maintaining employee team member files, ensuring compliance always.
- Creating and drive frontline leader and team member communication has necessary related to most things people related.
- Prepare new hire packets, orientation materials, benefit packets and other employee communications for distribution.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline, automate and innovate people practices which maintain high team member engagement and interactions.
- In partnership with stakeholder departments, such as safety, champion programs and own pieces of maintaining strong culture in those departments
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
- Effectively articulate policies and programs, including actively listening to and understanding team member concerns, and demonstrate ability to resolve concerns/questions, while using tact and diplomacy.
- Must demonstrate initiative and critical thinking capability.
- Under general supervision, must be able to exercise discretion and judgment within determined guidelines.
- Experience resolving problems quickly; possesses good follow-up and organization skills.
- Experience working in a continuously changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task with a strong sense of urgency

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related degree preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years office experience in Human Resources preferred
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing/ production work environment preferred.
- Experience managing projects and problem solving preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. )
- Experience with ADP WorkforceNow or other HRIS, ADP Recruiting Management and Cornerstone On-Demand Learning Management System preferred
