This is a full-time, onsite role at our facility in Portland, PA.Position SummaryThis position will administer and maintain all Employee Benefits, Recruiting & Onboarding, and Compliance. We are a small, effective team searching for a new member who brings a positive attitude, and willingness to jump in and get things done! Starting compensation up to $70,000 DOERecruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for all non-exempt positions in collaboration with the management team utilizing innovative recruitment strategies and practices to attract the best, hire and retain a talented staff
  • Distribute, collect, and maintain all performance-related and disciplinary paperwork
  • Onboard new employees on the first day including completing forms and a plant tour if necessary
Benefits Administration
  • Administer all employee benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, 401k, etc.)
  • Assist employees with questions throughout the year regarding all benefit plans
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment meetings for all employees
  • Responsible for administering COBRA and leave of absence programs following company policies and state and federal guidelines.
Compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure site policies, procedures, and reporting comply with Federal, State, and local laws
  • Develop and process HRIS reports as necessary
  • Prepare health and 401K regulatory compliance filings accurately and timely as required
  • Maintain accurately completed and up-to-date employee benefit files
Experience & Qualifications
  • An Associates Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of experience working in an HR role
  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • 2+ years of comprehensive benefits administration and reporting
  • Practical and current knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Bilingual - ability to read and speak Spanish is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with maintaining HRIS systems
  • Proficiency in MS Suite
