Our client is a not-for-profit healthcare organization and they are looking for a Benefits Manager. *This role is hybrid and will require the candidate to go onsite in Harlem, NYC.*
Key Responsibilities:
- Process benefits enrollments for union and non-union staff quickly and accurately.
- Review payroll deductions, especially 403b (pension), to ensure accuracy.
- Resolve employee benefits issues with administrators and insurance providers.
- Assist employees in enrolling in dental, vision, medical insurance, and pension plans.
- Explain benefit options to new hires and guide them through enrollment steps.
- Provide ongoing support to HR staff on benefit-related matters.
- Advise employees on benefits eligibility and related issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of Benefits management experience, heavy with leaves (FMLA)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
The annual base salary range is $75,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
