Our client is an international manufacturer of high end precision parts, whose headquarters are in Buffalo, NY. They are regarded as a leader in their respective manufacturing space and are a publicly traded company. They are seeking an experienced HR leader to handle managing the HR function, including the normal duties (benefits, comp., payroll, safety, personnel policies, etc.) and, importantly, play a significant part in the leadership and development of an internal employee engagement strategy. This means the person we are seeking must be able to develop enduring relationships with the employees and leadership of the company. This role is positioned to be a candidate for the Director role within a relatively short timeframe - 1-2 years. The company is also seeking someone with an understanding of the technology required to run a successful HR program. The ability to create and manage an effective talent management and recruiting platform is a must have.
