This position supports the Director, Human Resources, Global Support Functions and Global Center of Excellence (COE) by providing support to the business in the areas of employment, including recruitment, employment, total rewards, etc. Ensures that programs and projects as directed by the local Director HR are completed within established guidelines.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
* Implement human resources programs by providing human resources support, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, benefits, training and development, records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention, compliance, and completing personnel transactions.
* Assists in the preparation and/or delivery of employee training on an as-needed basis
* Lead the investigation of employee relations issues
* Responsible for ensuring all activity for areas of responsibility are properly approved and documented in accordance with Company, department, and regulatory requirements.
* Acts as a coach to managers regarding Performance Improvement & Development Plans and progressive discipline to address challenging performance management situations. Support managers in developing and communicating plans to address areas of improvement.
* Work with HR policies and initiatives based upon best practice to ensure local effectiveness and legal compliance.
* Works closely with the Talent Acquisition team to enable effective resourcing strategies and tools to attract high quality candidates. Participate in the selection process.
* Leverage internal talent plans to encourage internal promotions where possible
Talent Management
* Assist HRD in the facilitation and coordination of the talent review process and support the execution of development plans identified leveraging the local and global framework to develop talent.
* Identify training needs.
Change Management
* Be a change Champion utilizing and driving change management tools.
* Performance Enablement Process - PEP (Goal Setting, midyear Check In's & End of Year Review)
* Act as the custodian for the performance management process and MyCooper system
* Analyze and monitor functional area KPI's for alignment to strategy.
Organizational Climate
* Organizational structure design
* Analyze survey results and enable action plan creation and delivery across the business.
* Facilitate processes to conduct annual engagement survey.
* Assist HRD to facilitate processes to drive structural changes where required.
* Ensure competency requirements are aligned to competency framework.
* Assist in the HRD in promoting initiatives and a culture of Inclusion & Diversity
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Excellent communicator and must work well with all levels of the organization
* Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment regulations
* Efficient HR administration and people management skills
* Excellent record-keeping skills
* Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
* Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software
* Experience in Oracle Human Capital Management a plus
* Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Self-starter with ability to work independently.
* Comfort working in ambiguous situations.
Experience:
5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; or an equivalent of education and experience.
