Job Description:
Human Resource Business Parter (HRBP) will seek to create a positive and inclusive work environment, develop methods to attract and retain local top talent and provide exceptional human resources services and support to the managers and all employees at locations within an assigned regional territory.Key Goals of the HRBP roleOUTCOME: Effective local talent management programs and processes for a staffing to budget (fill rate) of 98% average in assigned branches.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for hourly open positions and assigned salary positions, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Develop and actively manage talent pipeline for hourly positions and assigned service positions.
  • Responsible for coordinating or attending recruiting events to reach the best pool of top talent.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Recruiter for salary-level positions at assigned locations.
OUTCOME: Successfully onboard and offboard employees to ensure a consistent, best-in-class experience.
  • Creates, plans, organizes and conducts new hire orientations and 30-day touch base interviews on time and complete.
  • Excellent communication between applicants and managers to keep all parties informed and up to date.
  • Successfully completes the offboard and exit checklist for any employee leaving the organization and leads managers through the process
  • Utilizes tools and HRIS system to keep HR department employees up to date on employees' statuses and all employee data accurate.
OUTCOME: Ensure accurate and timely safety tracking and reporting.
  • Provide training to assist leaders with accident, incident and near miss investigations and ensure all reporting is entered and up to date on Safety Smart Sheet and Company insurance portal.
  • Manage OSHA and DOT tracking and reporting processes to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Lead safety committee meetings for sites.
  • Develop safety performance reports to share with leadership and to identify trends to address recurring safety issues proactively.
Proactively communicates relevant information to Team Members
  • Development, in collaboration with the global People Operations team, the company-wide communication strategy and then execute locally.
  • Determine multiple, diverse, and proactive communication methods for disseminating information to the local employee population to ensure all are kept up to date on all relevant company information.
  • Create and publish company's monthly newsletter
OUTCOME: Frontline Leader Support Partner
  • Fostering a positive work environment by supporting leaders on resolving workplace conflicts and proactively working with leaders to minimize employee concerns. Conducting investigations when appropriate.
  • Predictable travel schedule (20%) to satellite locations and regular weekly calls for check ins.
  • Collaborate with the Dream Management team on enhancing employee engagement score and initiatives.

  • Must be proficient with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), strong preference for UKG Pro and have strong data analysis skills to track, review and report People Operations metrics
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field
  • Highly preferred to have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources with multi-site experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to effectively utilize features for data analysis, reporting and presentations
  • Proven ability to lead and manage HR projects from concept to implementation.
  • Regular day travel to other regional Wildman sites (Fort Wayne & Indianapolis) (approximately 20%).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Present offer letters for hourly employees and assigned salary level positions and coordinate and track all pre-employment onboarding testing and paperwork for all new hires (hourly and salary) at sites.
  • Provide support to Corporate Recruiter for salary level open positions.
  • Complete appropriate processes and checklists for onboarding and offboarding and changes of status for employees in HRIS system including verifying I-9 documents and maintaining I-9 files.
  • Regular communication and coordination with the payroll team to ensure all employees are paid properly.
  • Ensure all employee data records are up to date.
  • Field day to day employee benefit program questions and proactively promote benefit programs in collaboration with Benefits Manager.
  • Field local branch employee requests for FMLA, STD, LOA, and work with Benefits Manager to ensure appropriate documentation is completed.
  • Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation and ensures compliance with all local and federal employment laws.
  • Work with the Director of Talent Development on identifying local training needs and supporting the performance management process.
  • Leads or participates in the planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide company meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor or member of the Leadership Team
  • Reliable and predictable attendance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to sit at a desk for a prolonged period of time while working at a computer.
  • Ability to travel by car to other Wildman sites.
  • Standing, walking, and moving within the office to attend meetings or collaborate with employees.
  • Ability to lift and carry files or office materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
