Details Client NameDowling Building Job TypeTravel OfferingNon-Clinical ProfessionNon-Clinical SpecialtyHR Associate Job ID29194196 Job TitleHuman Resources Business Partner II Weekly Pay$1979.75 Shift Details ShiftDay - 8x5 - 09AM Scheduled Hours40 Job Order Details Start Date01/06/2025 End Date07/05/2025 Duration26 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner II Job Specialty: Human Resources Business Partner II Job Duration: 26 weeks (6 months) Shift: 8 hours Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Experience: At least 5 years of HR and employee relations experience in a union environment License: N/A Certifications: N/A Must-Have: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred Job Description: - Join a dedicated HR team focused on Employee Relations for Corporate Functions such as IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Growth. - Manage employee relations issues from problem identification to resolution, partnering with Labor Relations to improve practices for both represented and non-represented employees. - Provide guidance, counsel, and direction to managers and supervisors on employment risks and employee relations. - Conduct investigations and address employee issues and complaints, collaborating with HR Business Partners and Labor Relations to recommend appropriate actions. - Offer guidance and assistance in the disciplinary action process and ensure fair and timely handling of ER cases. - Interpret and administer Collective Bargaining Agreements, working with appropriate parties as needed. - Use business judgment to minimize organizational risk while guiding management on workplace practices. - Build effective relationships with HR Business Partners and stakeholders to collaboratively ensure solutions. - Stay informed about federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements. - Evaluate organizational climate and facilitate improvements in employee experience alongside HR Business Partners. - Oversee the creation of Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) for employees not meeting performance expectations, assisting managers with regular meetings and creative performance enhancement strategies. - Act as a liaison in employment-related decisions, mediate difficult conversations, and advise on productive discussions. - Participate in legal hearings to provide testimony and represent the organization's best interests as necessary. - Support other HR Business Partner responsibilities as needed.
