Client: Well-Known Hospitality Organization Role: Temporary Human Resources Business Partner Pay Rate: $40-50/hr Duration: 3+ Months, with the opportuntiy to extend based on performance! Location: Downtown, Manhattan - *5 days a week in office*ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day to day administration and execution of Human Resource programs include but not limited to onboarding, offboardings, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; employee recognition and engagement; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handle employee relations, investigations, disputes and conflict resolution, performance management matters
- Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and
- Maintain consistent practices with company policy/procedures and help align HR initiatives with business objectives
- Supports annual review, preparation and administration of the Company's wage and salary
- Diagnose and recommend solutions that impact leadership development, employee relations, retention, and organization structure, interpreting, communicating and ensuring consistent application of company guidelines and
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed
- Coordinate, support, and facilitate employee engagement and recognition programs such as birthday & anniversary celebrations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Maintain constant communication with departments to ensure a constant Human Resources presence.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and escalate to Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Human Resources as needed.
- Assists Recruitment team with recruiting and staffing efforts including open calls, application collections, and interview scheduling as needed.
- Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures; ensures timely reporting of accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to insurance as well as managers/chefs.
