Our Human Resources Business Partner will provide a leadership presence with internal stakeholders to align human resources with the strategic aims of the business and support the daily functions of the human resources department. What you will do: Align business objectives with human capital initiatives Support activities such as recruitment and retention, compensation, learning and development, employee engagement, organizational development, succession planning performance management, onboarding and offboarding. Support the continued development of an apprentice program including establishing and ensuring application of best practices company wide. Drive accountability in development and equip managers to build high performing, diverse teams. Gather data and analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies. Process employee payroll changes and ensure accuracy of this data through bi-weekly payroll auditing. Participate as a member of NEP's Safety team. Ensure compliance with EEO/ADA/AA and other legal requirement issues. Assist with global mobility, immigration and expatriate assignments. Focus on employee relations and resolve complex issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. What you will need: Bachelor's degree preferred with 7 years of progressive experience in all aspects of human resources preferred, however a combination of experience and education will be considered. PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred. Knowledge of local, state and federal legislation. Experience with international, diverse cultures and audiences preferred. Prior experience with building teams in a matrix, global organization. Strong knowledge of MS Office products and ADP Workforce Now preferred. Position will be hybrid and based in Pittsburgh, PA area; incumbent must be willing and able to travel as necessary. Why join us? Check us out at our career page.
