As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will report to the Head of HR - Americas, supporting the Americas Consumer Business and will be based at our corporate headquarters in Wilmington, DE. This is a critical business position that is required to act as the key integrator, influencer and advisor between the HR organization and the client group which comprise of 500 employees based in US and Canada.You will operate as a trusted consultant and functional expert to leaders. This includes: collaborating with business and regional HR leaders to ensure the business is prepared to support talent needs and high growth culture; the effective development and deployment of talent to achieve strategic and operational objectives; promoting, implementing and maintaining effective HR policies, programs, procedures, and practices; serving as the primary contact for investigatory matters within area of responsibility, along with performance improvement consultation and day to day leadership and guidance regarding employment issues; and providing day to day support on HR activities such as compensation management, talent acquisition, HR analytics and special projects as assigned.You will be accountable for supporting HR/Talent agenda that aligns with the business strategy and helps to position Solenis as an employer of choice . The talent agenda will include the capabilities to attract and enhance organizational performance; as well as develop, engage, and retain best-in-class capability that will deliver consistent growth across the enterprise. Serve as primary contact supporting clients in employee relations investigations, performance improvement planning and employee relations matters. Additionally, generate and assess HR analytics for various initiatives.You will also be responsible for:
  • Build strong relationships and partners with the HR Centers of Excellence (COE) such as Total Rewards, HR Operations, Talent Management as well as Commercial and other regional HR Leadership to ensure the successful roll out global initiatives.
  • Works as an integrated HR partner to ensure consistency and alignment across the global HR organization.
  • Provide day to day support on HR activities including activities such as compensation management, recruitment, and selection, leave administration, policy and procedures and compliance.
  • Continuously builds business acumen by participating in and driving the HR agenda in business staff meetings, town halls, and roundtables.
  • Coach business leaders on people related matters; supports the resolution of complex people issues; provides thoughtful and objective consultation.
  • Support client organizations with the administration and execution of key HR programs, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment of the Solenis workforce with the strategic goals of the Company. These programs include, but not exclusive to, the annual performance management process, ongoing talent assessment and development programs, annual compensation planning, variable compensation support, annual culture survey action planning and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Support workforce planning, including organizational design.
  • Stay updated on changes in local legislation and interface with legal counsel as necessary to interpret statutory changes.
  • Support and lead special projects and critical HR initiatives, including merger and acquisition.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/SKILLS
  • Bachelors in Human Resources or related field required
  • 10+ years' experience in human resources. Experience supporting commercial team in preferable.
  • HRBP experience with carve outs, IPO, M&A/Due Diligence, start-ups is highly desired
  • Ideally experience in talent management, organizational development, performance management and workforce planning.
  • Ability to address issues with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Action-oriented individual with strong levels of perseverance; works toward both individual and team goals.
  • Demonstrates personal initiative and the ability to be involved at various levels and willingness to roll up sleeves to drive results and outcomes.
  • Continuous learner showing a desire to solve complex business problems and provides innovative, value added solutions.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to take vague concepts and translate into a specific course of action. Manages ideas and makes decisions through critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

This role will be based on a hybrid schedule in Wilmington, Delaware.
