Job Description:

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for the development and implementation of the Human Resources processes, providing integrated HR solutions for the needs of internal clients taking into account the corporate policies of training and development, remuneration, recruiting and selection, etc., as well as the current legislation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify learning & development requirements and prepare development plans for the employees. Organize and conduct orientation fore new hires.
  • Provide advice as to the best HR management practices to support business objectives.
  • Identify trends/issues that require resolution and involves appropriate resources.
  • Provide employee relations counsel to managers and employees on HR matters including performance, discipline, organizational decisions and career development.
  • Provide interpretation and guidance on human resources policies and employment law.
  • Support HR colleagues and managers to understand and comply with relevant legislation and employee relation policies and practices.
  • Participate in the talent acquisition process, ensure the quality of personnel hired, the effectiveness of recruiting and compliance with law requirements.
  • May assist with job advertising, posting and post job information on Omya homepage and external websites.
  • Review resumes, perform telephone interviews, administer in-person interviews and conducts reference & background checks.
  • Recommending placement of internal and external candidates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree preferably in the area of Human Resources or Business.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in the field of Human Resources Management in a manufacturing environment in areas such as personnel administration, payroll, recruitment and selection, training, staff services, union relations, etc.

Labor law knowledge and good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff. Excellent project management and change management skills, ability to maintain the confidential information, ability to work independently and resourceful.
