Acting as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues, the Human Resources Business Partner will champion employee needs, anticipate HR requirements, and deliver outstanding service across the organization. This position reports to the President of Projeo Corporation and will be based in Des Plaines, Illinois.Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for all positions, oversee onboarding activities for all new hires.
- Coordinate with external suppliers such as moving companies, temporary or placement firms, and advertising agencies.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the legal and finance department as needed.
- Work closely with management and employees to enhance work relationships, build morale, and boost productivity and retention.
- Champion the vision, mission, and values of the organization to enhance a positive culture across the organization by creating avenues to build healthy relationships throughout a remote team.
- Support development of business policies and procedures.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Manage employee onboarding, including benefit orientation, as well as offboarding tasks.
- Collaborate with the Benefits Specialist to administer benefits at remote locations.
- Participate in the design, development, assignment, evaluation, and monitoring of training programs (compliance, safety, and technical), ensuring training objectives are achieved.
- Build and maintain a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building and succession planning.
- Manage the performance review cycle, including setting timelines, coordinating review meetings, training managers on effective evaluation practices, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
- Assist in administrative tasks across functions in the organization. Help coordinate with administrative support staff.
- Assist with development and administration of career progression framework and compensation strategy.
- Assist with the development and administration of HR processes and systems.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Experience designing and implementing succession plans and new performance management programs.
- Experience analyzing employee data and trends and tracking various HR metrics.
- Experience with AAP/EEO reporting.
- PHR, SHRM-CP or HRM-SCP Certification are preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Requires a valid driver's license.
- Work authorization for the United States.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel will be required (~5%).
Position Grade, Compensation Range, and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $70,000 - $130,000 USD annually, with grade levels ranging from G11-G13, and a target performance incentive of 6-8% of annual salary. This salary range is Projeo's good faith estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, Projeo's business or organizational needs and an individual's relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and/or performance. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the annual salary, grade levels, and bonus. The range listed is just one component of Projeo's total compensation package for employees.
