Job Description:

Hybrid Role (On Site 2-3 days/week)

Education/Experience Minimum Requirement:Degree in Human Resources or any other related disciplines.

Citizenship requirement: Must be US Citizen (ITAR and commercial)

Duration of initial contract - 6 months

Schedule: M-F 8-5 (Flex as needed to support the business but a standard 8 hr workday)

OT:If business required, most likely would be voluntary

Possible temp to perm position

Indirect Charging

Interview preference - Virtual Interviews (manager sits in CA)

Tools/Systems - Workday exprience would be preferred, Excel/Powerpoint/Word

JOB TITLE IS: HR BUSINESS PARTNER

As the HRBP, you will partner with Business Managers and Leadership teams to identify, develop, and implement solutions across a range of HR activities including recruitment, workforce planning and performance management. This role will support our Resilient Navigation Systems and Integrated Mission Systems Engineering function.

What You Will Do

Partner with Senior Leadership and Business Managers to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives.

Support in implementing and executing HR objectives and strategies to the engineering function.

Ability to develop and effectively leverage partnerships across HR and within the business unit

Partner with HR CoEs - Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Compensation & Benefits as well as the Shared Services team to ensure efficient people and business support.

Ability to coach, consult and influence leaders regarding the importance of good “people” practices and the links to business success; ability to be approachable and empathetic to employee needs

Coach and support leaders by providing consistent and timely advice regarding disputes, performance management, and compliance with relevant legislation, and policy.

Support Business Leaders by linking people and culture initiatives to business goals, including support and guidance on employee engagement and change management initiatives.

Drive inclusion by keeping DEI at the forefront.

Qualifications You Must Have

Degree in Human Resources or any other related disciplines.

3 years of relevant experience in HR partnering or HR management.

Passion to serve people, support the business and build relationships.

Great team player with good communication and influencing skills across all levels.

Excellent time management and ability to balance strategic and tactical priorities.

Meticulous, process and result orientated, strong in process follow-through.

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications We Prefer

HR knowledge in supporting an engineering function.

Experience using the Workday HRIS system

Industry experience in supporting Aerospace, Manufacturing or Engineering related sectors.

Comfortable working with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to influence without direct supervisory responsibilities
