Job OverviewThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, short and long term goals, and its culture to support cross-functional projects, workforce planning, and contribute to change management efforts. This role is NOT remote and the candidate must be able to report into our office located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC.
What You'll Do- Conducts regular meetings with business units to maintain alignment and provide HR guidance on operational issues and employee relations
- Develops a deep understanding of the organization's business, industry, products, and processes to deliver a consultative, proactive approach to HR needs
- Offers hands-on support in solving operational challenges and executing HR projects aligned with company objectives, analyzing trends and metrics to create effective solutions
- Manages complex employee relations issues and acts as a strategic advisor to leadership, offering guidance on organizational challenges, team dynamics, and succession planning
- Collaborate in developing and implementing HR strategies that support organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and change management, while participating in the evaluation of training programs to ensure they meet business objectives
- Acts as a key resource for leadership in conflict resolution and performance management, performing other related duties as assigned
- Ensures legal compliance by identifying employment laws and requirements, providing guidance on necessary policies and procedures, and partnering with management to effectively communicate these standards and regulations.
- Maintains and analyzes human capital reports to identify HR issues and develop actionable recommendations for improvement, enhancing overall organizational effectiveness
What We Need- Ability to work in our Charlotte, NC office located in the Ballantyne area
- A degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. HR certifications are a plus
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is a plus but not required
