Job Description:
Job DescriptionThe Human Resources Business Partner duties support both HR functions and business objectives. This role requires expertise in core HR areas, as well as the ability to partner with leaders to drive performance, employee engagement, and operational success.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for employees
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigating concerns, resolving conflicts, and supporting a positive work environment.
  • Ensure HR policies comply with federal, state, and local laws, and support policy adherence across departments.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and guidelines.
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring they align with market benchmarks.
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and coordinate open enrollment and benefits orientation.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking, providing input to maintain competitive compensation practices.
  • Manage employee records
  • Support organizational change initiatives, fostering resilience and adaptability among teams.
  • Collaborate on projects related to restructuring, culture change, and process improvements.
  • Act as a coach and advisor to business leaders on organizational challenges.
  • Conduct exit interviews
Requirements:
    • Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
    • 5 to 7 years plus of HR generalist experience
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence at all levels.
    • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; data analysis skills a plus.
    • Problem-solving orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams
    • Demonstrate high ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
    • Apply data-driven insights to influence people decisions and initiatives.
    • Must be able to work in office, in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas, Monday through Friday, hybrid and remote options not offered
