We have grown from 2 to 28 operations in less than three years and plan to continue our rapid expansion. What Youll Do
The HR Business Partner, will play a key role in helping our center teams, field and corporate leadership strategically navigate the complexities of people and culture. You will help assess needs and develop solutions in areas such as talent acquisition, workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, employee relations, compensation, retention, career development and leadership development. You must understand business priorities and translate them into a plan that supports our rapidly growing business and aligns with our culture framework and company values.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as the People Team point of contact for all employees and managers in assigned area(s).
- Ensure employment related policies and programs are delivered consistently while maintaining appropriate flexibility to ensure local/regional success.
- Partner with center and field leadership to ensure compliance and consistency in applicant and employment related processes.
- Collaborate with center and field leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, retention, training, and culture.
- Provide crisis management support, when necessary, effectively partnering with other members of the crisis response teams (People, QA, Ops, Legal, Finance).
- Contribute to the on-going development of Talent knowledge base to help managers and employees to continually enhance self-service capabilities, where appropriate.
- Consult and advise leaders on effective coaching, counseling, and progressive disciplinary strategies for employee related matters.
- Oversee employee relations matters and participate in internal investigations of claims, complaints, and grievances with the objective of ensuring objectivity, determining the best resolution, and mitigating company risk for assigned area(s).
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.
- Participate in the preparation of responses for legal claim and government agency complaints in conjunction with legal counsel and/or VP, People.
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition and dedication.
- Advocate for employee retention and development.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Deep knowledge of HR practices, disciplines, and employment law; preference for knowledge in pharmaceutical, biopharma, plasma, or related highly regulated industry.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in HRIS, and other relevant HR technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt messages.
- Flexibility and ability to pivot to new assignments and desire to work in fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Masters Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, with increasing responsibility.
- Experience with hourly and exempt, remote, centralized and field-based employee population.
