Pay Range - $50 - $55 an hour
Shift and Schedule - Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm
Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will oversee and coordinate the HR needs for a community, a group of business units, or support system-wide initiatives in the healthcare environment. This position will represent Human Resources on leadership teams, working closely with senior leaders to provide HR expertise and guidance. The HRBP will mentor other HR colleagues and translate their deep knowledge of healthcare into HR best practices for clients. Areas of focus will include change management, leadership development, succession planning, operational effectiveness, and employee relations. The HRBP will align People and Culture solutions with organizational strategies, key objectives, and mission.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with leaders at all levels of the organization on people and culture-related initiatives.
- Develops and implements strategic priorities that support mission, operational, and department goals.
- Builds strong and trusting relationships with leadership teams, proactively translating business strategies into HR solutions.
- Applies analytics and metrics to drive actionable recommendations and solutions.
- Proactively manages complex employee and labor relations issues, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Advises leadership in administering labor contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Participates in labor contract negotiations and engages with labor union representatives.
- Responds to grievances and requests for information, utilizing internal resources as appropriate.
- Provides expert advice on various HR areas, including culture, people programs, policy, procedures, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution, engagement, diversity/inclusion, and organizational development.
- Partners with leadership, Centers of Expertise, and the HR Service Center to balance caregiver needs, policies, and compliance with regulatory standards in line with Mission and Values.
- Coordinates or leads HRPO project work, including policy reviews, process standardization, and competency development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and professional experience.
- Master's Degree (Preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources or equivalent leadership, including experience in a shared services organization.
- Previous experience in a HRBP or similar role with a strong orientation towards relationship development.
- Strong experience in employee and labor relations, handling complex investigations, grievances, and impact bargaining.
- Preferred: Extensive knowledge of complex human resources service lines in a COE model.
- Prior leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
Credentials:
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.
Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and federal/state laws related to HR disciplines.
- Expertise in employee and labor relations, including mediation and conflict resolution.
- Strong investigation skills and knowledge of organizational and team dynamics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and present concise information.
- Understanding of operations within the healthcare industry.
- Ability to utilize workforce-related metrics effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems (Preferred).
