The Sr Human Resource Business Partner will work closely with site leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives. This role is responsible for providing a broad range of HR services including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, development and training, policy interpretation, compliance, compensation and benefits administration as well as employee engagement activities. This is a manufacturing site-based position and previous experience in this environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
o Develop robust Job Descriptions to use in role assessment and recruitment
o Collaborate with corporate recruiting team regarding job postings and recruitment strategies for salaried roles.
o Responsible for hourly manufacturing hiring, including monitoring staffing levels to ensure open positions are identified and filled on a timely basis
o Manage onboarding and offboarding processes

Employee Relations:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns regarding policies, procedures, and programs
o Conduct investigations and support conflict resolution efforts
o Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, including leading and supporting employee-engagement programs and events
Performance Management:
o Supports the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans
o Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management issues
Communication, Training and Development:
o Effectively communicate talent process expectations, calendar and timelines.
o Identify needs and coordinate with the corporate center of excellence to recommend and deliver the right training
o Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops
Compliance and Policies:
o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation
o Continually review current policies and actively work toward improvements, aligning with business objectives.
o Maintain the employee handbook and all internal documentation pertaining to company policies and procedures.
o Communicate policy changes to employees and ensure understanding and compliance.
HR Systems and Reporting:
o Provide accurate and timely updates in SuccessFactors for new hires, promotions, job changes, separations, etc.
o Prepare and present reports as required
Compensation and Benefits:
o Support the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs with corporate center of excellence
Safety and Health:
o Collaborate with the safety team to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
o Participate in safety committee meetings and initiatives
Process Improvement and Global Projects:
o Support global HR Initiatives including project work.
o Identify areas of improvement and execute projects to gain efficiency
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred)
• 5-7 years of experience in progressively responsible HR roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Confidence and knowledge of HR principles and practices to exercise independent judgement
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills
• Proven change management and/or integration experience (preferred); project management experience a plus
• Excellent organization skills with an ability to prioritize work and multi-task several projects simultaneously and quickly adjust to new situations
• Time and attendance experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in HRIS and database management tools, SuccessFactors a plus
