Position: Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the business unit and Human Resources Management in supporting the needs of the business. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: liaison to benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation and recruitment.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
* Provides excellent service to employees and managers by answering and responding to phone calls and emails timely and accurately regarding human resource processes and the self-service system
* Answer questions regarding personnel policies and procedures
* Answers employee and manager self-service user questions for the human capital management system
* Administers various Federal and State employment compliance procedures for all company personnel
* Provides support in the communication of and enrollment in employee benefits
* Supports administration of various Human Resource processes and programs including but not limited to Service Anniversary Award Program and Leave of Absence process
* Maintains human resource department records and compiles reports from the human capital management system
* Maintains personnel files and records
* Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Demonstrated ability to accurately perform high volume and detailed work
* Strong organization and prioritization skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and customer services skills
* Professional written and verbal communication skills
* Working knowledge of employment law and regulations
* Minimum of 2 years related work experience in administration and human resources
* Experience utilizing human capital management software and Microsoft Office Suite - demonstrated proficiency specifically in Excel, Outlook and Word
* Ability to maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
