Responsibilities Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions Administer and track performance and attendance discipline Completes I-9 forms, verify I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files Assist with employee letters (new hire/termination) Coordinate and assist with recruitment and interview process Schedule meetings, interviews and employee events Orientate new employees to the organization (offers, background, on-boarding, new hire orienation, etc.) Maintain documentation in the quality management system (CPRO), audit and update documents as needed Update HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status changes Create new employee personnel files and file papers and documents into appropriate employee files. Be visible and present on the operations floor and post communications across the facility HR communication boards Upload communications into the companies communication system, and communicate through the company internal communication channel Assist with tracking and administrating recognition programs Recommend possible actions to improve key processes within HR Adhere to EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines Ensure full Labor Law and Wage & Hour compliance is adhered to within all operations Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential. Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field 3-5 years in Human Resources preferred Positive and personable demeanor Strong organizational, planning and time management skills Experience in HRIS System (Oracle) strongly preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Communicate effectively with employees and managers Attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft office programs Experience dealing with a large employee population We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
