Our organization is expanding across the five boroughs, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Massachusetts, and Westchester County, offering exciting opportunities for career growth and development.Job Summary:As an HR Coordinator, you will be a cornerstone of the team, ensuring that our veterinary teams and Practice Managers are fully supported. Your role will encompass a wide range of HR tasks, from employee relations and performance management to compliance and communication. Your ability to handle complex HR issues with empathy and clarity will be crucial in maintaining our positive, productive, and policy-aligned workplace.Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Support: Be the go-to person for veterinary team members' questions and concerns, offering timely and supportive solutions while helping them navigate company policies or labor laws with care and understanding.
  • Communication: Share companywide changes and updates in a clear and engaging way, ensuring that all employees are well informed, feel connected, and understand how the latest policies impact them.
  • Leadership Support: Be a supportive resource for practice leadership, offering guidance on employee documentation, coaching conversations, and performance management.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the company complies with all relevant labor laws and regulations. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, documentation, and HR processes.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment at each veterinary practice by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
  • Growth and Development: Assist in developing critical practice level programs, such as onboarding and performance management initiatives, ensuring these programs are thoughtfully crafted and implemented to create a welcoming, supportive, and engaging environment for our team members.
  • Administrative: Support the management of employee records, onboarding processes, and HR documentation, focusing on accuracy and care. Prepare and maintain reports and documents as needed, and handle confidential correspondence and communications with sensitivity and respect.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices.
  • Ability to handle confidential information ethically and with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
