Position Description:Responsible for coordinating and administering various human resources processes and programs in partnership with senior team members and/or on behalf of department management.
Primary Job Responsibilities:- Updates internal job descriptions on the company's intranet, submits new or revised job codes for processing, and maintains related records and files.
- Completes, updates, reviews, and submits employee and intern transaction forms and related checklists, including on behalf of affiliate locations.
- Participates in external compensation surveys, processes retroactive compensation changes, and administers monthly bargaining unit step progression and annual wage chart changes.
- Updates and maintains electronic forms, job aids, and various department process checklists.
- Administers ad-hoc, monthly, and annual reporting processes, including union dues, bid, compliance, and audit requests, employee turnover, EEO-1, affirmative action plan, VET 4212 reporting.
- Administers human resources programs, including tuition reimbursement, educational assistance, financial counseling, employee recognition, and anniversary awards.
- Assists in the termination process, including gathering documents, calculating PTO use, sending helpdesk notifications, ensuring the collection of company equipment, and responding to unemployment information requests.
- Partners with payroll to respond to time management questions and issues from employees and department managers.
- Monitors and adjusts paid time off balances and exceptions, including for new hires, internal transfers, and status changes.
- Participates in monitoring the annual department budget.

Minimum Requirements:Position requires an associate's degree in human resources or a related field and four years of experience maintaining or verifying documents or data, running reports, processing transactions, administering programs, and responding to questions, including progressively more responsibility. Previous experience in human resources, in a union environment and administering human resources programs preferred.
