Human Resources Coordinator

- Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Duration: temporary to possible permanent
Human Resources Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Manage and facilitate the staffing process, including placing job ads, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
- Conduct background checks, maintain I-9's and E-verify all new hires.
- Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
- Manage Paid Time Off in Paychex payroll system.
- Work on yearly healthcare renewals and manage all aspects of the company healthcare including enrollments, terminations, and claim issues.
- Investigate employee relations issues / conflicts - brings them to resolution.
- Manage all workers compensation claims with Selective Insurance Company.
- Set up 401K educational meetings twice a year and enroll newly eligible employees.
- Plan company events to maintain good company morale.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Work with Paychex (payroll system) to ensure the employee handbook is up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Handle all FMLA and Temp Disability Leave Requests.
- Support management with whatever is needed in the workforce.
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees including generating key fobs for office buildings.
- Prepare meeting agenda for HR Meetings.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Human Resources Coordinator Requirements:
- A Minimum of 5 years of related HR experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution skills, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- HR certification is a plus.
- Experience with hiring and onboarding preferred, knowledge of Healthcare preferred, strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail-oriented.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable.
