Description:

The Opportunity: The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the El Segundo HR Business Partners, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, HR Communications and related team members. This includes responding to HR Business Partner and employee questions, resolving issues, HR Systems employee life cycle data entry, providing HR reporting, dashboard generation and basic analytics, and general support to the El Segundo HR team. A successful candidate in this role would aspire to and eventually grow into an HR Business Partner or HR Center of Excellence role.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Handle day-to-day processes, to include employee data changes, creation of job requisitions, training support, and answering HR questions for clients

• Full end-to-end termination processing in a hybrid work model; coordinate with HRBP, Shared Services, IT, Security and external vendors, as needed, to ensure a positive employee experience; creation and distribution of digital termination documents; conduct exit interviews remotely and on-site as needed; lead termination to competitor process

• Update/manage Termination Resources on HR Access (SharePoint site)

• Ensure compliance and integrity of all HR systems data through various audit processes in cooperation with Client, Compensation/Benefits & HRIS

• Create, manage, and track purchase orders and invoice processing for Compensation & Benefits (budget in excess of $6M) to include external vendor relations

• Partner with HRIS, Shared Services, IT, and Finance teams on supporting tools/systems and troubleshooting user issues (PeopleSoft, Kissflow, Coupa, Oracle, Workday, etc.);

• Serve as point of contact for both internal and outsourced Global Shared Services teams, ensuring that service levels are met, and processes are continually being improved; follows up on delinquent requests and escalate issues on behalf of HRBPs

• Maintain and deliver standard and ad hoc HR reporting and analytics to and for the HR team and business (e.g. overtime reporting, HR dashboards, etc.)

• Continue to support efforts to digitally enable the HR function and supporting processes

• Support Global Onboarding team in conducting new hire orientation as needed, including I-9 verification using EMPTrust and E-Verify

• Support Global Compensation team with activities such as:

o Updating budgets, troubleshooting, working with vendor on invoicing for spot awards program

o Inputting retention awards in HR system (global responsibility)

o Creating compensation memos

• Maintain El Segundo HR office space to include ordering office supplies, submitting Facilities and IT tickets, general upkeep of common areas

• Initiate Overpayment Deduction Authorization forms to support Payoll's collection of owed monies by researching discrepancies, addressing employee questions/concerns, etc.)

• Other special projects as assigned

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

• Minimum 2 years as a coordinator, and/or HRIS/Reporting supporting a fast paced department; experience working in an HR department preferred

• MS Office skills specifically in Excel (formulas, vlookups, mail merge, etc.) and PowerPoint

• Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving capability

• Ability to multi-task and self-manage/prioritize in a busy environment supporting 10+ HRBPs

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with clients and team members

• Exceptional detail orientation and organization skills (with strong sense of urgency and follow up/follow through)

• Strong, clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to actively listen and accurately interpret directions and instructions

• Ability to think and illustrate 'big picture' focus as well as make sure the details are executed flawlessly

• Maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations; ability to adapt effectively to change

• Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight

• 'Can-do' attitude and proactive, solution-focused individual

• Experience working with HCM systems and digitally enabled processes, Workday preferred

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat and InDesign) as well as AdobeSign preferred
