Job Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions. This role involves coordinating various HR activities, handling employee inquiries, and maintaining HR records. The Human Resources Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting HR initiatives and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. To ensure success as a Human Resources Coordinator the ideal candidate will detail oriented with a passion to help other people and a strong understanding of the essential need for confidentiality. Principal Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process including preparing job descriptions, posting ads, qualifying candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Assist in management of company LMS (Learning Management System) catalogue
- Manage and update employee databases and records ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in the new hire onboarding process coordinating with IT and office management as needed.
- Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives and maintain positive employee relations.
- Assist with the preparation of reports related to HR data and metrics.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Human Resources best practices and legal requirements.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
- Assist with benefits invoice reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain training records and track employee participation in training activities.
- Assist with worldwide company recognition announcements.
- Assist with administrative and office management responsibilities as needed.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Coordinator, Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong understanding of Human Resources policies, and procedures.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with ADP Work Force Now, Celergo, and/or Employee Navigator a plus.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
