Job Description:

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.Reports To:Human Resources ManagerDuties will include but are not limited to:Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requestsPerform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hiresPerforms input into HRIS for employee maintenance and personnel changesTroubleshoot and direct employees to proper HR assistance when inquiring within the HR department in person, through emails or phone inquiriesSupport the hiring process by coordinating employee drug testing and performing background checksLiaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)Assist in conducting New Employee Orientation and in the intake process of all new employees and VolunteersActs as liaison for AMC Volunteer programCommunicates with incoming and outgoing Residents and Interns to assure a smooth transition at AMCAssist HR Manager and Director on special projects and hospital wide annual training requirements (Residency and Internship Programs, Graduation, Sexual Harassment, etc)Support other HR related functions as assignedMailroom maintenance:Responsible for processing and distributing all AMC mail, incoming and outgoing in a daily basisResponsible for maintaining the supplies and updated internal employee mailboxes when neededResponsible for communicating with outside services as, US Post Office, FEDEX, etc. to assure proper delivery of packages and service requestEmployee File maintenance:Responsible for filing/maintaining employee records on a regular basisMaintains all HR files and documents for internal and external audits and inquiriesUpdates employee files with job changes, payroll changes, etc.Requirements and skills:3 + years experience as an HR Assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative positionAble to work collaboratively with all levels of staffStrong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP WorkForce Now and Time + Attendance)Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle data with confidentialityGood organizational and time management skillsHigh School Diploma, college degree a plusJob TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
