Maesa is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This individual is passionate about talent and will provide support to all areas of Human Resources including onboarding, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, and talent management. We are looking for someone who is resourceful, eager to learn, a team player, and enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment. This role is based in NYC and you will be expected in office three days a week, per current Company hybrid office policy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for all general Human Resources, benefits, and payroll related inquiries and issues
  • Support onboarding process, including compliance with onboarding toolkit
  • Maintain organizational charts, Employee Handbook, and other HR documents and processes as needed
  • Assist in resume screening, interview scheduling, and provide high-touch candidate experience
  • Participate in and provide ongoing support to HR initiatives and special projects based on the needs of the team and business, including managing HR calendar and event planning
  • Support key Learning & Development initiatives, including ongoing programs and Lunch & Learn series.
  • Lead monthly HR communications to group
  • Support immigration process and leave process
  • Keep up to date in the latest trends in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 1 – 2 years of Human Resources or related experience preferred
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Data analysis and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed
  • Demonstrated curiosity and innovative ways of working
  • Creative thinker with an interest in staying ahead of market trends in HR, technology, and media
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, in particular)

What We Offer

$70,000/yr - $75,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for participation in a discretionary bonus plan based on individual and company performance.
