Job DetailsJob LocationRex Moore - Corporate - Sacramento, CAPosition TypeFull TimeSalary Range$21.30 - $30.29 HourlyTravel PercentageNegligibleJob ShiftDayDescriptionOVERVIEW: The Human Resource Coordinator will assist in supporting the Human Resource (HR) department and perform a wide range of Administrative and Human Resources duties and projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with employee onboarding/off boarding, excellent task prioritization and execution skills and strong technical skills to navigate the HRIS software.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization by responding to inquiries in a timely manner and providing effective and efficient problem resolution. Refer more complex inquiries to the appropriate HR team member.
- Prepare and maintain all applicable information for employee electronic files
- Process and input new hires, transfers, promotions, manager changes, return to work, terminations, and other employee status changes in the HRIS software.
- Facilitate the new hire process: guide new hires through the onboarding process, answer questions and explain new hire documentation requirements
- Maintain quality and consistency of information in the HRIS system
- Maintain employee personnel information in HRIS system
- Distribute and process employee performance review documentation
- Assist Benefits Administrator with benefit administration duties
- Assist in company event planning and execution
- Assist Benefits Administrator with workers compensation claims management
- Answer employee questions regarding general Human Resource related matters.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Manage employee recognition programs such as the Company's Swag Store
- Provide other support to Human Resource Staff as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENTWork is performed in an office environment. This position may be required to travel to other office locations.REPORTING STRUCTURE:This position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.CAREER ADVANCEMENT: Career advancement at Rex Signature Services, LLC is possible with all positions, but is not guaranteed. - 2+ years general HR or administrative experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Business, Administration, or related field preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of Human Resources standard policies, practices and procedures including new hire processing and personnel data and records management.
- Strong analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with HRIS and benefits database.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written. Bi-lingual in one or more other languages a strong plus.
