Job Description:
Reports to - HRBP - Corporate Job Summary: The HR Coordinator provides support to the Human Resources team, specifically for onboarding, recordkeeping and other administrative tasks and projects.**This is a 100% in-office position 5 days a week**Job Duties:
  • Facilitate onboarding to include communicating with candidates from the point of offer acceptance, through orientation to ensure a positive introduction to NEFCO.
  • Ability to work through the I-9 process as well as E-Verify
  • First point of contact to answer questions from candidates and assist with onboarding tasks.
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed correctly and on a timely basis
  • Process new hires in the system, specifically following up with applicants and managers as needed, ensuring that payroll and 401k tasks have successfully passed over into the HRIS database.
  • Conducts new hire orientation to provide new associates with information on policies and other important information relating to their employment.
  • Works closely with other team members and the hiring managers to create and coordinate the new hire orientation schedule.
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance with follow-through.
  • First point of contact for all HR related calls and/or emails and distribute correspondence to the appropriate team members.
  • Creates and maintains electronic employee files.
  • Provides administrative support in other areas of HR as needed.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of all sensitive and private information.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience preferred
  • Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • High computer literacy, experience in an HRIS system, Paylocity a plus
  • Detail oriented with solid written/verbal business communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet changing deadlines
  • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
