Our client is expanding and seeking a Temporary HR Coordinator in White Plains, NY. This is a 5-day onsite role with a pay rate of $25$28 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Onboarding & New Hire Support: Own the lifecycle of pre-onboarding and first-day activities, including background checks, orientation sessions, IT setup, and data entry in HRIS. Provide ongoing support for benefits, payroll, and IT-related questions.
HRIS & Data Management: Maintain accurate employee profiles, ensure I-9 compliance, and audit HRIS data regularly. Process employment changes and respond to document requests.
Communication & Reporting: Prepare weekly onboarding reports, collaborate with leadership to improve processes, and communicate company-wide process changes. Provide support for People team projects and track progress.
HR Operations Support: Oversee HR inbox, manage unemployment claims, and assist with administrative inquiries. Provide backup support for People team initiatives as needed.
Duration: 3-month project assignment
Location: White Plains, NY; located 45 minutes outside the city
Compensation: $30-$35/hr.
HRIS: Workday experience is required.
