Katoen Natie's HR Coordinator position must possess a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures associated with the management of an employee lifecycle within a fast-paced environment. The candidate could be responsible for recruitment and selection, onboarding, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance, offboarding, and maintaining employee records. This individual should have strong knowledge of HR regulations both at the state and federal levels.
Qualifications
- Requires an attained Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Detail oriented with a positive attitude; coachable.
- Requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency to read, write, and speak the English language, bilingual a plus.
- Experience in managing, planning, and organizing a collective amount of information effectively.
- Ability to plan, execute, and complete work with little to no supervision.
- Must possess the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of personnel/management within an extremely diverse culture.
- Ability to perform assigned work tasks with little or no supervision.
- Ability to adhere to an extremely adaptive environment.
Responsibilities
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Responsible for recording and maintenance of personnel information ensuring compliance with processes in accordance with the law, communicating and implementing change within appropriate channels.
- Responsible for talent acquisition by creating job requisitions and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Responsible for analyses and monthly reporting of personnel costs.
- Responsible for processing payroll weekly and overseeing PTO.
- Manage personnel software systems: Promesys and Timestar
PERSONNEL
- First point of contact for HR related inquiries.
- Responsible for overseeing retention, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of direct hires.
- Lead on the overall hiring process.
- Foster and maintain relationships with Staffing Partners.
- Conduct monthly meetings with Staffing Partners addressing all key points of interest. (KPI's)
- Organize and promote training as you are the ambassador for Learning & Development.
- Participate and lead in various projects associated with Human Resources and with regard to talent acquisition.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and follow/execute all safety procedures/rules as outlined in the KTN Safety Manuel and OSHA Regulations.
- Possess a high standard of quality.
