Job Description:
This position is primarily an audit and support function of human resources staff and management involving the purposes around data, processes, procedures, and analysis within the department.Must have initiative to seek out and learn the banks HRIS software and understand and apply regulatory compliance involving the human resources functions. Includes the following, other duties may be assigned; Knowledge of:•Principles, practices and techniques of human resources responsibilities including:oRecruitmentoTesting and selectionoClassification and job analysisoCompensation analysis•Understand basic principles and practices of Department of Labor requirements and compliance with requirements•Research methods and data analytics techniquesoUse data to predict and analyze trends or detect errors and omissions•Principles and practices of sound business communications•Serve as support for benefits management•Ability to collect and participate in salary surveys•Day to day functions concerning retirement plan management•Assist in audits and annual reporting of the retirement plan•Affirmative Action reporting •Workmen's compensation renewal•Performs and documents controls over benefits and other HR functions•Reconciles and balances certain benefit programs offered•Must be capable of quantitative and qualitative analysis and interpreting the results of actual and forecasted data.Ability to:•Gather relevant data, analyze problems, evaluate alternatives and make sound, appropriate recommendations •Exercise sound judgment and initiative within established guidelines•Understand, interpret, explain and apply human resources policies applicable to the human resources programs•Analyze and develop sound recommendations on difficult and sensitive organizational and human resource management issues•Prepare proposals and recommendations to support initiatives•Communicate effectively orally and in writing•Prepare clear, concise and accurate reports•Use computer tools and software; exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive, complex and confidential personnel issues and employee situations•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those encountered in the course of the work including all levels of managers and supervisors•Maintain confidentiality inside and outside the HR department.HRIS Specific Job Functions:•Basic understanding of the payroll process, and use of business intelligence (BI) reporting systems.•Ability to generate internal reports using UKG BI report writing programs using data extraction capabilities.•Make suggestions on how to manage and secure user roles and permissions to ensure data security and privacy compliance.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up to date with UKG updates and new features, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
  • Generate critical reports (salary surveys, benefits enrollment, and compliance) to inform key decision-making.
  • Recommend Configuration of UKG settings and business rules to align with organizational needs and objectives.
  • Troubleshoot HR and Payroll issues and provide proactive solutions for a smooth system experience.
  • Identify and implement improvements in training, customization, and overall UKG efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver training materials for system users, empowering the team to get the most out of the platform.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Employee is responsible to understand and comply with regulatory requirements for financial transactions, most specifically Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) as it relates to specific job functions.
