Job Description:

The Human Resources Director will lead all human resources activities for the company. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Recruiting: Overseeing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing potential candidates to interviewing and onboarding in the U.S. and other localities, including the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • Workforce Demand: Working closely with the Chief Operations Officer, carrying out workforce planning and analysis using data and analytics, forecast workforce needs, as well as analyzing HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, hiring metrics).
  • HR Analytics: Administering software and tools used to store, manage, and analyze employee information. This includes maintaining employee records, updating HR systems, and providing data security.
  • Employee Relations: Maintaining positive employee relationships throughout the company. Working closely with the General Counsel, handling workplace conflicts, addressing complaints, conducting investigations, and recommending resolutions. Developing policies that protect employees and mitigate risk to the company.
  • HR Compliance: Working closely with the General Counsel and other program management, ensuring that all HR policies and practices comply with applicable employment laws and regulations and other legal requirements. Ensuring that employment practices satisfy safety laws and regulations. Ensuring that HR complies with applicable contract requirements. Recommending best practices.
  • HR Budget: Developing and monitoring the budget for the HR department.
  • Work collaboratively with current HR staff to support all HR functions.
  • Serving as Cube Root's FSO. Ensuring the Cube Root's adherence to policies, practices, and procedures of the 32 CFR Part 117 'NISPOM Rule'. Providing security management for classified contracts in accordance with DCSA and agency specific regulations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned or modified from time to time.
  • Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field
    • Masters Degree preferred
    • 15+ years experience in Human Resources
    • Experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) field preferred
    • Familiarity with SHRM guidelines
