The Mission Neighborhood Health Center (MNHC) is a non-profit, multi-site community health organization offering comprehensive health services in the Mission and Excelsior Districts of San Francisco. The center offers primary health care services, adult medicine, pediatrics, family planning, OB/GYN, HIV, and homeless services.
We advocate for health equity and deliver innovative, high-quality services responsive to the neighborhoods and diverse communities we serve with a focus on the Latino Spanish-Speaking Communities.
We are currently looking for qualified candidates for our Human Resources Director role. This position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and is a Regular, Full-Time, Exempt role with a starting annual salary range of $142,700 to $156,500 with full benefits.
Primary Objective:
The Human Resources Director is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive human resources strategy that supports Mission Neighborhood Health Center's overall goals and objectives. This role provides leadership in key areas such as recruitment and retention, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, organizational training and development, labor and employee relations, and compliance, while fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with the organization's values.
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the HR Director works closely with senior leadership to ensure that HR initiatives drive organizational effectiveness, enhance employee performance, and support long-term growth.
The position ensures that HR policies, procedures, and programs are legally compliant and in line with best practices, while addressing the evolving needs of the workforce. The Director also plays a key role in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the organization, ensuring that all HR processes support a diverse and engaged workforce.
