Job Title: Human Resources Director Newark, OHFLSA Status: Exempt Business Unit: Human Resources Reports to Title: President Salary: $110K - $150K DOE Prepared by: Human Resources SummaryThe HR Director oversees the creation, execution, and assessment of the comprehensive human resources strategy, along with launching Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs tailored for a company specializing in automotive and mechanical parts manufacturing. Alongside core functions like recruiting, rewards, perks, and education, they harness technology and data analytics to foster company expansion and guarantee a secure and regulation-compliant workspace. Leadership, strategic mindset, and inventive methodologies are imperative.Major ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and Implementation of Human Resources Strategy: Develop and implement efficient human resources strategies aligned with the organization's vision and objectives, covering all stages of the employee journey, from recruitment to retirement planning, to enhance recruitment, growth, staff retention, compensation, and retirement planning.Integration of Technology: Utilize HR technology and digital platforms to analyze employee information, evaluate performance and requirements, and optimize human resources management procedures by leveraging AI and machine learning for enhanced efficiency.Improvement of Employee Experience: Introduce measures to elevate employee satisfaction and involvement, including flexible work setups, career advancement schemes, and enhanced welfare benefits, nurturing an atmosphere conducive to employee development.Leadership and Team Oversight: Work closely with the HR team and cross-functional departments, showcasing leadership in advancing human resources strategies. Offer coaching and direction to team members, fostering an environment of collective progress.Handling Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to labor laws and regulations, ensuring the legality of HR policies and practices. Alongside overseeing aspects of workers' compensation, proactively monitor risk management and compliance to avert breaches.Assistance with Organizational Evolution and Expansion: Recognize the human resource requirements linked with organizational evolution and growth and develop suitable strategies to aid restructuring efforts and the expansion of new business ventures, while adjusting to organizational shifts.Integration of EHS Concerns: Guarantee adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols and criteria essential for automotive and mechanical parts manufacturing operations. Conduct evaluations of risk within production procedures and workspaces and enforce suitable safety measures accordingly. RequirementsQualifications: Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Proficiency in technology and data analysis Excellent communication skills Proactive and self-directed Team management and leadership skills Understanding of legal matters and compliance Experience in change and project managementEducation: Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in HR management, business administration, or organizational development) HR-related certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI)Experience:Ten years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
