Job Description:

The Fractional Human Resources Director will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing global HR policies, procedures, and systems that promote a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to develop strategies that align with our business goals while addressing the complexities of managing a global workforce.

This is a part-time position that offers flexibility and is perfect for an HR professional with significant global experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation, standardization, and implementation of global HR policies, procedures, and practices that are adaptable to local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with global labor laws, regulations, and industry standards in all regions where the company operates. This includes developing policies related to global employee benefits, compensation, immigration, and payroll compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a global employee handbook, tailored to different countries or regions, outlining company policies, benefits, and expectations.
  • Understand and respect cultural differences while ensuring consistency in the company's HR practices across various regions, fostering an inclusive global workforce.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to managers and employees across multiple countries on employee relations issues, performance management, conflict resolution, and grievance procedures.
  • Work with senior leadership to align global HR strategies with overall business objectives, contributing to global talent management, growth, and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior HR Leader or HR Director, with expertise in global HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of Texas and international labor laws, regulations, and best practices, with experience in navigating complex multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • Experience in developing and rolling out global HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and adapt HR practices to the needs of different regions and cultures.
  • Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to lead and influence change at a global scale.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across cultural and geographical boundaries
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent international HR certifications.

*Must be available to work in office 2 days a week.
