HR Director

As we grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to lead our Human Resources department. This individual will drive strategic HR initiatives, ensuring our workforce remains motivated, productive, and aligned with business goals.
Position Overview
The HR Director will play a key role in shaping the organization's human resources strategy to support our operational and growth objectives. The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change, planning, developing, and implementing initiatives that enhance organizational performance. Acting as a liaison between employees and leadership, the HR Director will focus on fostering a positive work culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking, along with hands-on execution and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• HR Strategy & Planning: Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR plans that support business growth, retention, and employee satisfaction.
• Organizational Development: Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management strategies to ensure operational readiness.
• Employee Relations & Engagement:
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on all HR matters, including resolving conflicts and improving workplace culture.
• Create and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance retention and productivity.
• Training & Development: Assess training needs, design development programs, and deliver impactful training sessions to support leadership growth.
• Compensation & Benefits:
• Oversee compensation programs, salary planning, and benefits administration.
• Align strategies with industry trends to attract and retain top talent.
• Compliance & Policies: Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws and oversee HR policies and procedures.
• HR Systems & Payroll: Manage HRIS (Paycom) to ensure data accuracy, reporting, and seamless payroll processing.
• Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and guide HR team members, fostering growth, accountability, and high performance.
Qualifications
• Experience:
• 8+ years of HR leadership experience in manufacturing or medium-sized organizations (200+ employees).
• Proven success in leading HR teams and implementing HR strategies in dynamic environments.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Certifications: SPHR, SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred.
• Other: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
