SUMMARY

Terry Reilly is seeking an experienced HR professional to support our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has an HR background with an emphasis on Employee Relations.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the guidance of the HR Director, the Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for the administration and application of Human Resources policies and procedures that pertain to employee relations in compliance with applicable employment law(s), accreditation organizations and other applicable entities. The Employee Relations Specialist participates in the development and delivery of information and training related to employee engagement and onboarding and engages in process improvement efforts related to employee relations and engagement. Collaborates with members of leadership and the HR Team on various projects related to the employee experience. Reduces legal exposure and ensures effective management practices are being consistently used.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum three to five-years human resources experience with an emphasis on complex employee relations issues, employment law, EEO, and ADA.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business management or another related field or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • A self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Word, Access and Excel.
  • Is professional in appearance and manner.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, with seven-years' experience with an emphasis on employee relations, employment law, EEO and ADA.
  • Human Resource experience in healthcare or other health and human services organization.
  • SHRM-CP certification.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
