This position serves the patient care, education, and research mission of UCDH by Independently managing online and manual personnel transactions for all staff employees and providing overall UCPath Support. Performs a broad scope of technical and analytical duties to support the day-to-day objectives and short/long-range goals of the Human Resources Department. - Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- Thorough knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, systems and organizational structure and understanding of how they interrelate.
- Strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills to research, evaluate, interpret and compile information to clearly define issues and recommend solutions.
- Superior analytical skills to understand reporting need and requirements and ability to translate into specifications and/or develop reports.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret policy and procedures, union contract and state and federal laws as it pertains to personnel and payroll transactions.
- Comprehend policies and applications of a technical nature and how they apply to HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Organizational skills to plan, coordinate, manage and set priorities effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication, diplomacy and organizational relationships in order to handle very complex, difficult or volatile situations.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all processes and communications.

- Experience with existing Union Contracts/Policies/PSS
- Knowledge/Experience of UCPath Navigation, Onbase, AggieService, PeopleAdmin, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Programs
- Knowledge of Joint Commision Accreditation Audits.
