Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist / Senior Recruiter to join our team. This hybrid role involves managing day-to-day human resources functions while leading our recruitment efforts for key positions within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices, compliance, and employee relations, along with proven expertise in talent acquisition and a strategic mindset to support our organizational growth. This position reports directly to the Chief of Staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Human Resources Generalist Duties:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing workplace concerns, mediating disputes, and fostering a positive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, EEOC). Update and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and best practices.
  • Oversee the employee onboarding process, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture. Manage the offboarding process, conducting exit interviews and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the administration and communication of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs. Support performance management processes including annual reviews and employee development plans.
  • Track key HR metrics such as turnover, retention, and employee satisfaction. Prepare reports for management to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

Senior Recruiter Duties:

  • Lead recruitment strategies to attract, source, and hire top talent across various departments, with a focus on senior and critical positions.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from creating job descriptions to sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
  • Use advanced sourcing techniques, including social media platforms and partnerships with educational institutions, to identify high-quality candidates.
  • Partner with department heads to identify hiring needs, create recruitment plans, and ensure a seamless interview and selection process.
  • Develop and promote the company's employer brand to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, to optimize the recruiting process.
  • Engage consistently with our values.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in human resources, with at least 3 years focused on recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, recruitment strategies, and HR best practices. Familiarity with compensation and benefits is a plus.
