Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist supports and enhances the companys Human Resources department by working with the team to ensure HR objectives are aligned with the strategic business goals through effective employee labor relations, affirmative action, training, organizational development, and change management.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist management with the day-to-day administrative tasks and responsibilities.
- Expert knowledge to support FMLA and ADA Leave processes in multiple states.
- Investigation of employee relations issues and making recommendations to management.
- Advising and coaching managers with employee relations issues.
- Maintain human resource information system records and complies reports from the database as needed, including but not limited to, headcount, benefit costs, turnover, absenteeism, PTO tracking, payroll and compensation, and other sensitive data.
- Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resources management.
- Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, coaching and counseling managers and employees.
- Maintain outstanding levels of administrative support to all internal and external employees.
- Updates knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Develop guidelines/processes to better assist HR strategies.
- Facilitate Exit Interviews, as requested.
- Assists management with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relations with customers, coworkers and supervisors.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration or Organizational Development, required.
- 1-2 years of human resource management experience preferred.
- Experience managing EEOC claims and lawsuits.
- Experience advising and coaching managers.
- Experience collaborating with internal legal teams to help draft policies and/or procedures related to compliance issues.
- SHRM-CP certified, preferred.

- 30-minute phone screen with Talent Acquisition Partner.
- 30-minute Microsoft Teams Hiring Manager Video Interview.
- 1-hour Onsite Interview with members of CES's Human Resources Team.
