Vaco Richmond Recruiting for aHuman Resources Generalistwho will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support for various HR-related matters such as coordination, recruitment, payroll, and benefits.All potential candidates must reside locally in the Richmond, VA region.Responsibilities:Handle administrative tasks such as onboarding, new-hire orientation, and data entry into HRIS systems.Assist in communication, and interpretation of employee handbook, policies, and procedures.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding employment laws and policies.Assist with employee benefit programs, answer inquiries, and ensure compliance.Payroll processing including updating employee files, bonus/incentive pay, benefit charges, hourly-employee validations, entering/editing hours, etc.Qualifications:Previous experience using HRIS related systems.3 + years of generalist or coordinator experience in a corporate setting.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
