We are a non-profit organization which includes Diakon Child, Family, and Community Ministries.General Responsibilities:Sources, recruits, screens, and interviews qualified candidates.Responsible for providing quality guidance and support to operational leadership in the areas of employee relations, worker's compensation, training, safety, and employee health.Responsible for the successful onboarding of new team members through orientation, training, and engagement.Delivers new hire orientation, training, and support programs.Works collaboratively with managers to effectively address employee relations matters such as worker's compensation, discipline, performance improvement plans, separations, complaints, etc.Assists with the internal and external complaint process including but not limited to; compliance, PHRC, EEOC complaints.Ensures employee records are up-to-date and accurate to meet internal protocols and regulatory requirements.Places advertisements on relevant websites and in publications, attends job fairs and events in the community, and represents Diakon in the community.Some travel will be required.Education/Training: A BS or BA degree in Business, Communications, Human Behavior, or a related field of study normally required.Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in related positions required.ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.Compensation and Benefits:Diakon offers a competitive compensation and benefits package for Full-Time and Part-Time employees.
