YOUR ROLEAs the Human Resources Generalist, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of site HR functions such as helping with the recruitment and onboarding process, team building, payroll, investigations, data analytics, compliance, and special projects. We will count on your years of experience to help ensure a productive and conflict-free workplace, enhance job satisfaction, maintain HR compliance, and keep employee retention rates high.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Help organize training anddevelopment initiatives
- Embraceand support a culture wherediversity, equity, and inclusion work together to create a sense ofbelonging and a stronger workforce
- Support, create, and facilitateemployee engagement programs
- Provide support to employees andresolve issues with HR-related topics
- Promote HR programs to create anefficient and conflict-free workplace
- Gather data to determine and analyzeHR metrics
- Enhance job satisfaction byresolving issues promptly, applying new rewards and benefits, andorganizing team-building activities
- Responsible for payroll
- Use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint tocreate reports and presentations
- Maintain local personnel files inelectronic and paper form
- Work a typical schedule onsite Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00pm; be flexible to work outside those hours as needed
- Be approachable, yet maintainprofessional decorum and HR etiquette while consistently showingintegrity, flexibility, sound judgment, and confidentiality
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES- Bachelor's degree inHuman Resources, Business, Psychology, or equivalentcombination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in a full-time HumanResources role
- At least 2 years of experience in awarehousing, manufacturing, or retail environment
- Strong knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., PeopleSoft;UltiPro. Kronos)
- Strongknowledge of HR-related laws such as Equal Employment Opportunity,Compensation and Benefits, FMLA, FLSA, Labor Relations, and Health andSafety
- Experiencesupporting DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs a plus
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills (basicformulas, PivotTables); experience creating PowerPoint presentations
