Searching for a motivated individual who is serious about employee service to work in our corporate offices as a Human Resources Generalist.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities include: - Review and process employment and payroll changes
- Provide support to employees for payroll and benefits
- Tracking of employee discipline & collective bargaining grievances
- Ensure activities are in compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements and State and Federal laws
- Assist with Company leave programs, including Multistate Paid leave program; FMLA; Workers Compensation
- Administration of workers compensation, including injury reporting, insurer communications, light duty and return to work procedures, quarterly reporting, and maintaining OSHA recordkeeping

- Benefits Enrollment / Billing / Reconciliations & Health, Dental, STD, LTD, 401k and Flexible Spending Accounts
- Help coordinate and attend annual open enrollment meetings; preparing documents and other material to communicate to employees. Advice and counsel employees on benefit options.
- Implement timely changes into HRIS system, review and approve monthly invoices from insurance carriers.
- Provide assistance and backup in entering and processing payroll
- Other HR/Benefits/Payroll duties as assigned
Education/Experience: - Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources and employee Benefits
- Excellent Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office: Access, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to think critically
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills
- Experience working with collective bargaining agreements preferred
- Knowledge of Employment and Benefit Laws
- Experience with payroll processing desired
- Knowledge of Wage and Hour Laws
