Job Description:

The HR Generalist supports business unit operational plans by administering employment policies, addressing employee relations concerns, identifying needed employee skills and capabilities, and providing guidance. Compensation: Salaried, Exempt, Performance Bonus Eligible Travel: 10% Location: Kinetico Corporate Headquarters, Newbury, OH Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops relationships with business units to understand human resource needs in support of their operational requirements.
  • Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance.
  • Provides advice and consultation to employees and management, to include coaching and counseling on performance management issues, conflict management, interpretation of employment policies and facilitating resolutions. Documents all employment related mediations in a professional and non-judgmental manner.
  • Provides professional assessment regarding employment related actions such as promotion, job change, merit increases, and training needs.
  • Records and maintains employee information, such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations/separations of employment.
  • Assists with internal HR partners with recruiting, onboarding, and training functions.
  • Ensures employment activities follow Human Resources practices and expectations (i.e., hiring, employee relations, compliance, terminations, etc.) within the division.

    • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or a related field
    • Required: Two or more years of experience in employee relations preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to address all situations calmly and professionally.
    • Excellent people skills and the ability to take a broad view while attending to details.
    • Ability to mediate conflict logically and dispassionately.
    • Ability to create a positive impression of the company and to promote it across organizational levels.
    • Desire and ability to operate across human resources initiatives.
    • Possesses strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and has a Customer Focus attitude and delivery.
    • Knowledge and compliant application of applicable federal, state laws and regulations
